The Doocot
The Doocot interior is a calming and thoughtful one, decorated in creams and browns throughout with luxury linens and where every little detail has been thought out and provided for.
You enter through the conservatory into the kitchen and living area. The cottage is heated with a Stovax wood burning stove and with a plentiful supply of logs right outside your door. There are radiators to give background heat so the stove is not required unless you choose so.
For relaxing nights in then there is a flat screen television, Blue Ray DVD, Freeview, DVD's, Books, Bose Ipod dock and games but if you want to venture out then there are plenty pf restaurants nearby and one or two within walking distance.
There are quirky artworks and photographs by a local well known photographer hanging on the walls.
The kitchen/dining area is well equipped with beech worktops and a dining island in the centre. It is a well appointed kitchen with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with small freezer compartment and a washer/dryer.
There are dressing gowns and fluffy towels, a lovely big bath and shower and bathroom products by The Highland Soap Company.
The bedroom is bright and airy with full length windows down one side of the room to maximise the view. There is a wonderful super king size bed, with luxury linens, a dressing table with mirror, a magnifying mirror and a hairdryer.
The Doocot is a dog friendly property. There is a small
charge to cover the extra cleaning involved at the end of the stay of £20/dog.
Please advise during the booking process. The Studio does not allow dogs.
